FULL NEWS TRANSCRIPT:
This is Clean TV Family-friendly news. I’m Jerry McGlothlin reporting what’s happening on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
-------------------
Story #1: The State House of Louisiana has just passed a bill making their state the fourth in the U.S. to opt-out of abortion mandates of national health care, otherwise known as ObamaCare. After some final changes are approved, the measure will be sent to Governor Bobby Jindal to sign the bill into law. Louisiana Right to Life Federation Executive Director Benjamin Clapper was jubilant over the new law, saying lawmakers have, "Resoundingly sent a message to our nation that abortion is not health care." Amen to that! By the way, there is an excellent 7-part series on state nullification of unconstitutional election laws, at WebToday (put www.888WebToday.com on screen), one of the oldest independent news sites on the Internet, founded in 1996, located at: www.888WebToday.com (end text on screen)
----------------
Story #2: What may have begun as a US military operation to catch Osama Bin Laden and end the rise of Islamic terrorism may be taking a decidedly more materialistic turn based on fresh findings from a team of Pentagon officials and US geologists. Airborne geological studies of the (graphic) Afghan terrain have discovered more than a trillion dollars in precious, semi-precious and rare earth minerals including iron, copper, cobalt, gold, lithium, and more. Analysts fear the new discoveries could propel the country into further instability, as the national Afghan government vies with regional powers like the Taliban for control of the rich assets and royalties. (end graphic) The most recent studies were conducted based on geological charts left behind by Soviet scientists when they left Afghanistan in 1989.

Story #3: We can all use some good news, these days, and this looks like just what the doctor ordered? A biomedics company has discovered a naturally occurring substance found in the Australian rainforest that has consistently defeated inoperable tumors found in pets. The substance, codenamed (graphic) EBC-46 and taken from the seeds of a tropical shrub was used successfully in curing over 100 dogs, cats, and horses suffering from various forms of cancer. A spokeswoman for QBiotics Limited of Queensland says the drug stimulates white blood cells in the body to counteract the cancer cells and destroy them. Human trials of the promising treatment are set to begin in 2011. (end graphic)
-----------------
Story #4: (graphic) The U.S. annual worldwide human trafficking report was just released with one glaring addition: For the first time the report included a trafficking analysis of the United States. The 373-page report indicate that there were 12.3 million children and adults forced into prostitution or forced labor. (end graphic) Sadly there were only a token 4,166 trafficking prosecutions. That's less than one in 3000. No wonder human trafficking continues to spread like wildfire. One victim listed in the report was an an American girl decided to run away from home at 11 years of age to move in with a 32-year-old man who physically and sexually abused her and pushing her into a life of prostitution and drug addiction. At CleanTV we have wholesome programs in our Children and Family category for 13-year-olds to watch, like, “Dan the Animal Man” and “Little Princess,” starring Shirley Temple. We can hardly even picture what like must be like for children robbed of their childhoods and thrown into such an unimaginable lifestyle. Our prayers go out to these children and adults caught in harm’s way.
--------------
Story #5: While CleanTV has been critical of NBC's Today Show for airing Obama saying the "A" word and a young girl saying the "C" word twice in less than one minute, we've gone easy on Fox, perhaps because they are a little bit more conservative on some issues than the other three major networks. But after skimming through a new article at foxnews.com, we are now going to unload on the supposedly conservative Fox News Channel. Posted on June 14 was the article, "Fox on Sex: Please, Ma'am, May I Have Another? Spanking 101." Written by Jenny Block, author of "Open: Love, Sex, and Life in an Open Marriage," the article goes into great detail about how to engage in extremely kinky sex, encouraging readers to participate in the 'joys of spanking.' She describes leather floggers as 'exhilarating' to 'command and to relinquish all power' and to enjoy inflicting and receiving pain. What's more the Fox News parent company, News Corp, owns newspapers in Europe that show total upper body female nudity, so to use Fox News as a standard bearer for conservativism is like putting a Fox in charge of the hen house. We just reported. Now you can decide.
