I’m Jerry McGlothlin reporting what’s happening on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. ------------------- Story #1: (graphic of Honolulu seal) Obama was not born in Hawaii, according to a former elections clerk from Honolulu. Tim Adams, a civil servant, said Obama was not born in Hawaii and there is no long form birth certificate from any hospital on record, contrary to White House claims. Adams had access to records from every government agency that would be responsible for keeping such records. (end graphic) Adams says his former civil servant co-workers will probably not admit to what he knows is true because they fear they will lose their jobs and benefits if they admit Obama's birth certificate does not exist. (put text on screen: http://web.archive.org/web/20040627142700/eastandard.net/headlines/news26060403.htm ) Adams claims are backed up by an article in the East African Standard newspaper, accredited to The Associated Press, which referred to then state Senator Barack Obama as being Kenyan born. The AP story, titled "Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate" ran on June 27th of 2004, before Obama was considering a run for the U.S. presidency. (end text on screen) Story #2: (graphic) 12 and 13-year-old children, and some who are as young as nine, have given up learning how to read and do arithmetic, to pack fully automatic assault rifles in the streets of Mogadishu, Somalia instead. They are working for a military heavily funded by the United States. (end graphic) This is all in an effort to fight al-Queda-backed insurgents who likewise recruit school-age children to promote its Islamic agenda. But many of these children are so destitute they have few other means to take care of themselves or make money. A majority of them are orphans who lost at least one parent to the civil war. A Somali defense minister said many of the children who get internationally funded training then defect to the Islamic rebel forces. Story #3: The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and a few clergy are crying foul in Miami, Florida. They say praying in (graphic) Jesus name before the start of Miami City Commission meetings violates separation and church and state laws. The critics have called for an immediate change at City Hall. (end graphic) ACLU of Florida Executive Director Howard Simon, last week, sent a letter to the city outlining instances in which Clerk Priscilla A. Thompson says: “We asked these things in the name of your Son, Our Savior, Jesus Christ.” “In a religiously diverse democracy, citizens of all faith [or no faith at all] should not be subjected to officially-sponsored religious practices before participating in the affairs of local government,” wrote Simon. Commission Chairman Marc Sarnoff was urged to halt the invocations. At the following meeting Sarnoff suggested the commission invite religious leaders from various faiths to pray before its meetings. Sarnoff called it ``a great idea.'' Story #4: PayPay caved in to pressure from about 1000 patriotic Americans who fiercely objected to PayPal cutting off the Pamela Geller’s web site Atlas Shrugs, using their usual lame excuse for cutting off conservative sites: The "Acceptable Use Policy" that states, "PayPal may not be used to send or receive payments for items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance or the financial exploitation of a crime." Essentially that phrase fits the Islamic religion to a T, not the Atlas Shrugs site. The London Daily Telegraph reported June 14 that Muslims in Mogadishu, Somalia murdered two fellow Muslims and arrested 30 more after clerics forbade the wasting of time watching sports. According to Sheikh Mohamed Abdi Aros, 'good' Muslims should, "Focus instead on pursuing holy jihad." And for those who don’t know, ‘holy jihad’ in the Islamic religion means the mass murder of all non-Muslims until there are only Muslims left, and then there will be world peace. You heard that right. In Islam, once all non-Muslims are hacked to pieces, there’s world peace. But the question now is, (graphic of grim media) other than rare exceptions like the Telegraph or Washington Times, “Will anyone else in the major news media dare to cover this topic fairly? And now, will red-blooded Americans and citizen reporters step up to the plate and take this to the next level? Demanding that PayPal to take down all Muslim hate sites since Islam is based upon the bedrock of HATE, fueled by the VIOLENT shedding of blood of millions of innocent people, and INTOLERANT of anyone other than fellow Muslims, and I do mean 'fellow' Muslims, since female Muslims are not even 3/5 citizens in Islamic culture and under Sharia (Muslim religious) law. Well, that's 3 out of 4 of the PayPal taboos right there. And if the major news media wants to address FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION OF CRIMES? (end graphic) Look no further than or 9-11 or more recently Turkey's flotilla or Hamas. PayPal and major news media execs: Listen up. PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy taboos are enshrined in Islamic doctrine, oral and written, except instead of forbidden, they are commanded. Now you know the truth so what are you going to do about it? Ah, you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you…mad! --------------- 5) While most of America is scaling back just to survive, it looks like (graphic) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is doing her best to stimulate the economy. Of course, she is using YOUR tax dollars to do it. Just how much of that money is going out monthly to pay for her new district office in San Francisco? How about nearly 19-thousand dollars per month? That lease, fit for a queen, is costing the government nearly twice what any other congressman has dared to spend. (end graphic) The next-closest congressional spendthrift, Representative Jerrold Nadler, also a Democrat, is paying over $10-thousand 500 dollars a month for his Manhattan office. Oh, and our CleanTV news research time got those figures from the U.S. General Services Administration. ------------------ (graphic) Iran’s ayatollahs have made good on their vow to try and lift Israel’s blockade of Gaza by sending off the first in a series of cargo ships reportedly carrying supplies of food, toys, and construction materials. (end graphic) A Reuters report claims about 100-thousand Iranian volunteers have offered to serve as sailors on the ships. For now, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, says there are no plans to send Iranian naval vessels to escort the ships. This highly volatile move threatens to further inflame a region still reacting with anger to the recent Israeli boarding of a Turkish Gaza-bound ship. That action led to an attack on Israeli forces by club and knife-wielding "peace activists," producing serious injuries among the IDF commandoes who shot and killed nine Muslim attackers in self defense. Israel imposed its blockade to prevent weapons from reaching the Gaza strip, a land controlled by the terrorist group, Hamas. ------------------ Story #7: Our final story is about the economy, sort of. Police in Pittsburgh are searching for a robber of the Uni-Mart convenience store in Troy Hill who got away with...one dollar. We know that the economy is down but $1? Actually the ski-masked bandit took the entire till of $66 and seven packs of cigarettes, but dropped $65 on the floor before he made it to the door.
